New to the Pew
Is your child ready to sit through the entire sermon?!
Is s/he prepared to be quiet during all of the special music?!
Can your child sit still and not disrupt others even during Communion?!
YES! YES! YES!
Children learn to worship by watching parents, other adults and by actively participating in worship.
Since younger children need lots of active participation we will begin offering 2 different children's worship opportunities during October.
Children ages 4 and 5 attend worship with their families and then go to Room 5 in the Education wing after the Children's Moment.
During this time, volunteer worship leaders teach about the church, our faith, and effective ways of living that faith through songs, prayers, and activites!
Children 1st grade and up stay in worship with their family.
There will be several aids for parents with younger children provided at the door and suggested in a NEW TO THE PEW weekly email.
