Senior Pastor Transition

Bob Fox announced his resignation on Sunday, March 18, after serving as our pastor for 16 years. Bob has accepted the position of Coordinator for Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Kentucky and we are excited to see the good work he will do for that organization.

Our deacons have set up daily times for communal prayer, and themes for each day, as we are in this time of transition. Our Administration Committee has arranged for a variety of ministers to preach for us this summer. Get more information about the daily prayer times/themes and our upcoming guest preachers on the Senior Pastor Transition page.

How to Help the Women's Emergency Shelter

The Gathering Place opened an emergency shelter for women and children in Scott County in December! This is a much needed ministry in our community, and we want to help it be successful. The biggest need at this time is female volunteers to work in 4-hour shifts. Training is provided. Contact (502) 603--8140 if you're interested.  You can also help by donating any of the following items:
  • cleaning products
  • laundry detergent & dryer sheets
  • toilet paper
  • paper towels
  • feminine products
  • diapers (all sizes) & wipes
  • shampoo & conditioner
